KGS’ Collaboration and Knowledge Hub is a team of over 110 professionals based in Gurgaon and Bangalore offices. Our services include portal development, content management, measures and metrics, and collaboration support (internal and external) across various platforms – including SharePoint, Adobe Experience Manager, and mobile platforms.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • We are recruiting for Assistant Manager in the Shared Services, Collaboration and Knowledge Hub team. Working as AM in this team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Act as an evangelist for the Shared Services team, Scan the entire breadth of service offerings prior to responding to client requests and constantly look for opportunities to highlight the team's capabilities
  • Manage end to end Shared Services Program Management and with improved focus to meet the Service Delivery Excellence (Cost Recovery, Quality and SLAs)
  • Ability to manage team’s bandwidth - arrange for bandwidth to absorb peak load and Increase in Penetration - Add new clients or Geo or Service capabilities
  • Able to recruit and facilitate the onboarding of new team members in Shared Services, along with Senior/TLs by following KM Onboarding process
  • Do regular catch-ups with onshore contacts, offshore KM Leadership and all capability leads (Platform/Content/Metrics). Provide regular project updates with working stakeholders
  • Manage Shared Services projects end-to-end without guidance and enabling seniors/TLs to manage projects end-to-end with minimal guidance
  • Exhibit SME Knowledge in Portal development (SharePoint 2007/2013) and other web technologies, Content Management processes and be flexible to offer support in any capability (such as Platform and Content)
  • Work closely with Portal/Content/Metrics communities and wider-KM teams (Geo specific) to leverage best practices and impart knowledge to team members as a part of these community learnings and foster the capability building culture in the team
  • Plan for a periodic connects with all team members and provide constructive feedback to team members periodically and highlight performance goods and issues. Also, provide all necessary guidance to juniors on projects
  • Provide regular Management Information and prepare Executive Dashboards for Leadership consumption, along with detailed reporting of team’s metrics and measures

Essential skills required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent experience; MBA desirable
  • The candidate must have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services firm

Technical skills:

  • Microsoft developer certifications (MCSD, MCDBA, Certified Share Point Developer, Certified Share Point Administrator, etc.) are desirable, but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS SharePoint 2007/2013 out of the box features, SharePoint Designer, CSOM
  • Should be proficient in web related technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, Boostrap, Angular JS and XSLT
  • Sound knowledge and good working experience on all MS Office products.
  • Good hands-on experience on MS InfoPath and MS Visio
  • Good working knowledge of Flash and Adobe Photoshop will be an added advantage
  • Exposure and understanding of Knowledge Management concepts specially in other professional services/consulting firms
  • Strong content management skills
